SENATE RESOLUTION NO. 1236
|
|
|
WHEREAS, The Senate of the State of Texas is pleased to |
|
|
recognize Fort Worth Commercial Real Estate Women, Incorporated, |
|
|
for its commitment to providing professional development and |
|
|
community service opportunities for its members; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Founded in 1985, and affiliated with the national |
|
|
CREW Network, Fort Worth Commercial Real Estate Women, |
|
|
Incorporated, provides exceptional guidance and offers its |
|
|
members opportunities for networking, education, leadership |
|
|
development, and civic and philanthropic involvement; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, As part of its 25th anniversary celebration in |
|
|
2010, the organization created a Legacy of Leadership Lone Star |
|
|
Award and a formal Legacy of Leadership Mentoring Committee; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, This outstanding organization has also planned |
|
|
and executed events to benefit charitable groups like the Women's |
|
|
Center of Tarrant County, various educational institutions, and |
|
|
individual cancer victims; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, In 2011, the organization established Fort Worth |
|
|
CREW Charities, Incorporated, as a separate arm of the organization |
|
|
to better coordinate its philanthropic work on behalf of the |
|
|
community; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Fort Worth Commerical Real Estate Women, |
|
|
Incorporated, is an exemplary organization and has had a profound |
|
|
impact both in the professional lives of its members and in the |
|
|
community they serve; now, therefore, be it |
|
|
RESOLVED, That the Senate of the State of Texas, 82nd |
|
|
Legislature, hereby commend Fort Worth Commercial Real Estate |
|
|
Women, Incorporated, on its leadership in the industry and its |
|
|
legacy of service and extend to its members best wishes for |
|
|
continued success; and, be it further |
|
|
RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution be prepared for |
|
|
this outstanding organization as an expression of esteem from the |
|
|
Texas Senate. |
