No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

The bill would amend the Education Code, Government Code, and Parks and Wildlife Code to permit certain law enforcement agencies to use appropriated funds to purchase food and beverages for training functions required of certain peace officers. The bill would take effect immediately upon a two-thirds vote of all the members of each house. Otherwise, the bill would take effect September 1, 2011. No significant fiscal impact to the state is anticipated.
