No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

The bill would allow an application for a place on the general primary election ballot to be filed with the state chair for the office of state senator or state representative filed by the voters of a single county. It is anticipated that any costs associated with implementation of the legislation could be absorbed within existing resources. The bill would take effect on September 1, 2011.

No significant fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
