No fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

The bill would amend the Code of Criminal Procedure to require that a bail bond state an expiration date of not later than the third anniversary of the date the principal signed the bond. There is currently no expiration date on a bond.

Local Government Impact

No fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
