HB211 by Rodriguez, Eddie (Relating to this state's goal for renewable energy.), As Introduced
No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.
The bill would amend the Public Utility Regulatory Act to change the goal for renewable energy generating capacity. The bill would also eliminate the Public Utility Commission’s authority to establish separate alternative compliance payments for wind and non-wind renewable generation technologies.
Based on the analysis of the Public Utility Commission, it is assumed that duties and responsibilities associated with implementing the provisions of the bill could be accomplished by utilizing existing resources.
