HB251 by Hilderbran (Relating to the regulation of dangerous wild animals.), As Introduced

No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

The bill would amend the Health and Safety Code as it relates to the regulation of dangerous wild animals. The bill would remove certain exemptions, add restrictions to ownership or custody, and amend registration requirements. The bill would take effect September 1, 2011.

It is assumed any cost to implement provisions of the bill would be minimal and can be absorbed within the agencies' available resources.

No significant fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
