No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

The bill would amend the Transportation Code to require the Department of Public Safety (DPS) to accept certain identification documents as proof of identity from applicants for certain licenses. The bill would take effect September 1, 2011. No significant fiscal impact to the state is anticipated.
