No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

The bill would amend the Government Code to reduce the length of time that a retired statutory probate judge would be required to have served as an active judge (from 96 months to 72 months) in order to be eligible for assignment as a visiting judge. According to the Office of Court Administration the bill would not impact the activity of the courts; therefore, the bill would not have any significant fiscal impact.
