No fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.
The bill would amend the Government Code to prohibit the Department of Public Safety from recognizing a concealed handgun license issued by another state if the licensee has established a principal residence in this state. The Department of Public Safety anticipates no fiscal impact from the bill. The bill would take effect September 1, 2011.
