No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.
The bill would amend the Occupations Code to allow the Board of Veterinary Medical Examiners to issue a disciplinary order directing a veterinarian to participate in the peer assistance program.
Based on the analysis of the Board of Veterinary Medical Examiners, it is assumed that responsibilities associated with implementing the provisions of the bill could be accomplished by utilizing existing resources.
