IN RE:
HB414 by Aycock (Relating to the regulation of equine dentistry and the conducting of licensing examinations by the State Board of Veterinary Medical Examiners.), Conference Committee Report

No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

The bill would amend the Occupations Code relating to the regulation of equine dentistry and the conducting of licensing examinations by the State Board of Veterinary Medical Examiners. The bill would require the Board of Veterinary Medical Examiners to adopt rules to implement the provisions of the bill.

Based on the analysis of the Board of Veterinary Medical Examiners and the Department of Public Safety (DPS), it is assumed that responsibilities associated with implementing the provisions of the bill could be accomplished by utilizing existing resources.
