HB456 by Lucio III (Relating to a security services contractor's lien.), As Introduced

No fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

HB 456 amends the Property Code to authorize a security service contractor to place a lien against a commercial entity for the amount owed under a security services contract. The lien attaches to the property where the contractor performed the services, if owned by the commercial entity, and to the personal property owned by the commercial entity and located on the premises where the service was performed.

Local Government Impact

No significant fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
