No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

The bill would amend the Health and Safety Code by adding Salvia divinorum and its derivatives and extracts to Penalty Group 3 of the Texas Controlled Substances Act. The bill would take effect on September 1, 2011.

 

The Department of Public Safety anticipates no significant fiscal impact from this bill.
