No fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.
The bill would amend the Family Code to require that a court, prior to entering a contempt order, must find that the provisions of the order for which enforcement is requested are clear, specific, and unambiguous. The bill is not anticipated to result in a significant impact on judicial workloads. The bill would take effect September 1, 2011.
