No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

The bill would amend the Utilities Code relating to the allocation of the value of certain federal allowances for carbon dioxide emissions granted to certain electric or gas utilities.
 
Based on the analysis of the Public Utility Commission and the Railroad Commission, it is assumed that duties and responsibilities associated with implementing the provisions of the bill could be accomplished by utilizing existing resources.

Local Government Impact

No significant fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
