No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

The bill would require the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality (TCEQ) to utilize electronic means of transmission for notices issued or sent by the agency to a state senator or representative, unless the senator or a representative has requested to receive notice by mail. Notices concerning facility permits would be required to include an Internet link to an electronic map indicating the location of the facility. The bill's passage is not expected to have a significant impact on TCEQ operations or workload.

No significant fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
