No fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

The bill would amend portions of the Parks and Wildlife Code to prohibit the Texas Parks and Wildlife Commission (through proclamation or regulation) from prohibiting a landowner or a landowner’s agent from using a helicopter to take depredating feral hogs or coyotes. The Texas Parks and Wildlife Department reports the bill would not result in a fiscal implication to the department; accordingly no fiscal implication to the state is anticipated. The bill would take effect September 1, 2011.

Local Government Impact

No fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
