No fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

The bill would amend the Transportation Code to prohibit a county assessor-collector or the Texas Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV) from refusing to register a motor vehicle if the owner, or a dealer of certain vehicles, is delinquent for a civil penalty for a violation detected by a photographic traffic signal enforcement system.

According to the DMV, there would be no fiscal impact associated with the provisions of the bill.

No significant fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
