No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.
The bill would amend the Business and Commerce Code related to a travel club membership and provides that a purchaser of a travel club membership may cancel the agreement not later than midnight of the fifth business day after the date the agreement was signed by the purchaser and requires the seller to provide the purchaser with a copy of the agreement. It is anticipated that any additional costs associated with implementation of the legislation could be absorbed within existing resources.
