HB988 by Kolkhorst (Relating to compensatory time accrued by a correctional officer employed by the Texas Department of Criminal Justice.), As Introduced

No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

The bill would extend the period of time a Department of Criminal Justice correctional officer has to use compensatory time from 12 to 24 months.  The Texas Department of Criminal Justice anticipates no significant fiscal impact from this bill. 

Local Government Impact

No significant fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
