HB1103 by Lucio III (Relating to conditions of community supervision for persons convicted of certain criminal offenses involving animal cruelty.), Conference Committee Report

No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

The bill would amend the Code of Criminal Procedure to authorized a judge that grants community supervision to a person convicted of an offense involving animal cruelty to require the person to attend a responsible pet owner course according to guidelines in the bill. The bill would take effect September 1, 2011.
