No fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

The bill would amend the Election Code to require an election authority to provide written notice by mail, electronic mail, or another form of written communication of a meeting called by an election authority regarding an upcoming election to the county chair of each political party that made nominations by primary election. The bill would exclude a city secretary from the definition of an election authority.

Local Government Impact

No significant fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
