HB1226 by Dutton (Relating to the eligibility of certain persons who have received deferred adjudication to vote.), As Introduced

No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

For the voting eligibility of certain persons, the bill would clarify that the certain persons are not considered to have been finally convicted of an offense for which the criminal proceedings are deferred without an adjudication of guilt.  The bill would take effect immediately if it receives a vote of two-thirds or on September 1, 2011.

No significant fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
