No fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

The bill would amend the Government Code to allow a facsimile signature to be used on a lien statement of expenses in a home-rule municipality with a population of at least 200,000. Under current statute, the population requirement is 1.9 million.

Local Government Impact

No significant fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
