No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

The bill would amend the Occupations Code relating to the applicability of the law on the consequences of a criminal conviction to law enforcement officer license holders and applicants. This bill would take effect September 1, 2011.  The Department of Public Safety and the Texas Commission on Law Enforcement Officer Standards anticipate no significant fiscal impact from the provisions of the bill. 

Local Government Impact

No significant fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
