HB1418 by Hughes (Relating to inmate litigation.), As Introduced

No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

The bill would amend the Civil Practice and Remedies Code to make some wording changes to a statute regarding litigation by inmates.  The amendments make no substantive change to the law.  Accordingly, the bill would have no significant fiscal impact to the court system or the state. The bill would take effect September 1, 2011.

Local Government Impact

No significant fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
