No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

The bill would amend the Business and Commerce Code and requires that a contract entered into through electronic means must be in plain language and must display certain enumerated important terms in a conspicuous and distinguishable format. It is anticipated that any additional costs associated with implementation of the legislation could be absorbed within existing resources.
