No fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

The bill would require the State Board for Career and Technology Education to allocate funding received under the federal Carl D. Perkins Career and Technical Education Act of 2006  according to relative student utilization of secondary versus postsecondary programs, as permitted by federal law.

Local Government Impact

The bill could change the relative proportion of funding available to support secondary career and technical education programs available to public school districts and charter schools.
