No fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

The bill would amend the Penal Code to establish exceptions to an offense if a county commissioner carried a concealed handgun while attending a meeting of the commissioners court; the commissioners court previously adopted and has maintained in effect an order or rule authorizing a county commissioner to carry a concealed handgun if licensed to carry under Subchapter H, Chapter 411, Government Code; and the handgun was concealed.


Local Government Impact

No significant fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
