No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.
The bill would amend the Government Code relating to the retention, storage, and destruction of certain court documents. The bill would require the courts to not destroy any document presented to or produced by the court prior to January 1, 1951. No significant fiscal impact to the state is anticipated. The bill would take effect immediately if it receives a vote of two-thirds by both houses. If not, the bill would take effect September 1, 2011.
