HB1572 by Lozano (Relating to the applicability of certain restrictions on the location and operation of concrete crushing facilities.), As Introduced

No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

The bill would remove the 440 yard distance restriction for a concrete crushing facility located: within 25 miles of an international border; within a county contiguous with the Gulf of Mexico; in a municipality with a population of not less than 6,100 but not more than 100,000; and within one mile of a United States highway.

 

Passage of the bill is not expected to have a fiscal impact on the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality or the Department of Transportation.
