No fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

The bill would amend the Transportation Code to require operators of a bicycle to have a lamp that emits a white light in the front of the bicycle or person and a lamp that emits a red light at the rear of the bicycle or person at nighttime or during the 30-minute period before sunset or after sunrise.

Local Government Impact

No significant fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
