No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

The bill modifies eligibility requirements for the Teach for Texas Loan Repayment Program. The bill also requires the Commissioner  of Education to identify, in connection with the Teach for Texas Loan Repayment Program, public schools in the state at which it is difficult to attract or retain educators and public schools in the state in which more than 50% of the students enrolled are economically disadvantaged. Provisions of the bill would be implemented within existing resources.
