IN RE: | HB1593 by Isaac (Relating to the inclusion of a candidate's e-mail address on an official application for a place on the ballot.), As Engrossed |
The bill would require an officially prescribed form for an application that a candidate is required to file for a place on the ballot to include space for the candidate’s e-mail address and a statement informing the candidates that the furnishing of the e-mail address is optional. It is anticipated that any costs associated with implementation of the legislation could be absorbed within existing resources. The bill would take effect on September 1, 2011.
