IN RE:
HB1843 by Guillen (Relating to the discontinuation of management and efficiency reviews by the Parks and Wildlife Department.), As Introduced
No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.
The bill would repeal Subchapter K, Chapter 11 of the Parks and Wildlife Code relating to management and efficiency reviews, including reviews of maintenance equipment, maintenance providers, and the submission of a biennial management plan to address the department’s maintenance responsibilities. To the extent the bill would result in savings in department staff efforts to conduct and implement the reviews and report the findings, the fiscal implication to the department is not anticipated to be significant. The bill would take effect September 1, 2011.
Local Government Impact
No significant fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
