No fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

The bill would amend Code of Criminal Procedure to specify that if a warrant is issued to search for and seize data or information contained in or on certain devices, the warrant is considered to have been executed within the time allowed and may be recovered and analyzed after the expiration of the time allowed under Subsection (a).

The bill would take effect September 1, 2011.

No significant fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
