No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

The bill would amend the Occupations Coder relating to an insurance company's access to and removal of a motor vehicle stored in a vehicle storage facility.

The bill has the following due dates: Not later than December 1, 2011, the Texas Commission of Licensing and Regulation shall adopt rules to implement Section 2303.1601 of the Occupations Code, as added, and the bill would take effect September 1, 2011.

Based on the analysis of the Department of Licensing and Regulation and the Department of Insurance, it is assumed that duties and responsibilities associated with implementing the provisions of the bill could be accomplished by utilizing existing resources.

No significant fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
