IN RE:	HB2109 by Truitt (Relating to authorizing certain actions against an assisted living facility for the inappropriate placement of a resident and prohibiting retaliation against a facility.), As Introduced

No fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

The bill would amend section 247.066 of the Health and Safety Code relating to appropriate resident placement at assisted living facilities; and section 247.068 relating to Department of Aging and Disability Services (DADS) retaliation against a facility owner, controlling person or employee.

 

DADS indicated that any new requirements pursuant to implementation of the bill could be absorbed within available resources.

No fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
