No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

The bill would amend the Transportation Code to indicate the Department of Public Safety (DPS) could not include information related to whether a person has been diagnosed, treated, or hospitalized for a psychiatric disorder on an application for a driver’s license. The bill would take effect September 1, 2011. The Department of Public Safety anticipates no significant fiscal impact to the state from the bill.

No significant fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
