IN RE:
HB2370 by Dukes (Relating to certain notice to applicants to provide care under the permanency care assistance program.), As Engrossed

No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

The bill would require the Department of Family and Protective Services and licensed child-placing agencies to notify persons applying to become licensed or verified foster care providers in order to qualify for the permanency care assistance program about background and criminal history record check requirements and considerations. The bill would be effective on September 1, 2011. It is assumed any cost to implement provisions of the bill would be minimal and can be absorbed within available resources.
