No fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.
The bill would provide immunity from civil liability to an arbitrator based on the arbitrator's determination of the value of property or of the appropriate award of any remedy or relief under Section 41A.09 as if the arbitrator were a district judge making the determination. All existing immunity granted arbitrators by law, express or implied, would continue in full force and effect.
