The bill would amend the Probate Code relating to the family allowance, treatment of exempt property, and an allowance in lieu of exempt property in the administration of a decedent's estate by adding "adult incapacitated child(ren)" to "surviving spouse, minor children." The amendment to the code should make the handling of cases involving special needs adult children easier to manage according to the Office of Court Administration.
