HB2510 by Lavender (Relating to exempting the intrastate manufacture of certain incandescent light bulbs from federal regulation.), As Introduced

No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

The bill would amend the Business and Commerce Code and provide that the Office of the Attorney General defend a citizen of this state if the federal government tries to prosecute them for an alleged violation of federal law based on the manufacture or sale of certain light bulbs made and sold within Texas. It is anticipated that any additional costs associated with implementation of the legislation could be absorbed within existing resources.

No significant fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
