No fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

The bill would amend the Health and Safety Code to require a hospital outpatient clinic that provides health care service or supply to provide a written disclosure statement to a consumer that states out-of-pocket costs may be greater than costs for similar service or supply at a physician’s office.
