No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

Under current law, the Lieutenant Governor or Speaker of the House of Representatives may request an economic impact statement for any pending bill or joint resolution. The bill would allow any House or Senate committee to make a request.

The bill would take effect September 1, 2011.


Local Government Impact

No fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
