HB2630 by Branch (Relating to the formal recognition and administration of The Texas A&M University System Health Science Center.), As Engrossed

No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

The provisions of the bill formally recognize the Texas A&M University System Health Science Center (TAMUSHSC) which currently exists and includes the College of Medicine, Dentistry, Center School of Rural Public Health, Irma Lerma Rangel College of Pharmacy, College of Nursing, School of Graduate Studies, Institute of Biosciences and Technology, Center Coastal Bend Health Education Center, and Center Rural and Community Health Institute. 

The bill takes effect immediately if it receives a vote of two-thirds of all the members elected to each house, as provided by Section 39, Article III, Texas Constitution.  If this Act does not receive the vote necessary for immediate effect, this Act takes effect September 1, 2011.
