No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

The bill would amend policies related to driver education programs overseen by the Texas Education Agency, including requiring that certificates issued by driver education schools include an identifying certificate number that could be used to verify authenticity.

Any administrative cost to the TEA associated with the provisions of the bill is not expected to be significant and is assumed to be offset with revenue from fees authorized in the bill.

No significant fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
