HB2733 by Madden (Relating to the euthanasia of animals.), As Introduced

No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

The bill would direct the Health and Human Services Commission (HHSC), in conjunction with the Department of Public Safety (DPS), to conduct a study regarding the euthanasia of animals in Texas, adopt rules and implement improvements based on the study, and submit a report on the study to the Legislature by January 1, 2013. It is assumed any cost to implement provisions of the bill would be minimal and can be absorbed within available resources.
