No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

The bill would establish requirements related to the posting of information related to student dropout rates on the Texas Education Agency's website and school district websites.

The bill would require school districts to report information related to student dropout rates every six weeks. Costs to modify the Public Education Information Management System (PEIMS) to support the data collection schedule stipulated by the bill are not estimated to be significant.
