No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

The bill would amend the Occupations Code relating to authority of the Alabama-Coushatta Indian Tribe to commission peace officers. The Commission on Law Enforcement Officers Standards and Education, The Office of the Governor, and the Comptroller of Public Accounts all indicate no significant fiscal impact to the state is anticipated from the bill. The bill would take effect September 1, 2011.

Local Government Impact

No significant fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
